Baisan Institute Bahrain has signed an agreement with Kuwaiti partners to establish a training institute called Al Marifa in Kuwait. Baisan has successfully completed a training programme by providing necessary training to over 3,000 Bahrainis and expatriates in hospitality and tourism sector in the Kingdom. The agreement is seen as a major step forward to cement the friendly ties between the two countries in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baisan Institute, Mohammed Dadabhai said that they were happy to transfer expertise, knowledge and experience by offering training covering all aspects of the hospitality sector for Al Marifa Institute, Kuwait. "The agreement will give a new dimension to training facilities for the talented Kuwaiti nationals in tourism and hospitality sectors.
Bahrain Institute has emerged as one of the top training institutes in the Gulf and now the Baisan would transfer technology, knowledge and experience across the region as part of its vision and strategy," Dadabhai said. Managing Directorof Baisan Institute and Gulf Training Solutions, Qutub Dadabhai said that the agreement was the first step towards greater cooperation between the two sides. "This is a big step forward to create numerous opportunities in human resources development in a specialised segment like hospitality and tourism sector. This will also help Al Marifa Institute's students to get exposure in American hospitality and other global institutes to which Baisan Institute already has affiliations for training and advanced education," he added.
