MANAMA, 5th March, 2014 (WAM) -- In implementation to royal directives, Bahrain decided to name a mosque after First Lieutenant Tariq Mohammed Al Shehi.
The opening ceremony of the First Lieutenant Tariq Mohammed Al Shehi Mosque was under the patronage of Bahrain's Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalid Al Khalifa and in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice & Islamic Affairs. In the occasion, Sheikh Khalid said that Bahrain is renowned by building hundreds of mosques in all areas in the country and this has been flourished during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. Sheikh Khalid added that royal directives comes in recognition from Bahrain to the sacrifices of those loyal men who exert the most precious things in order to prevail security and tranquility.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2014.
