Y. B. A. Kanoo commercial division has recently sold a 40-tonne Hyster dedicated container handler to Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mills Company. It was the first such sale to be made in Bahrain's private sector. The Hyster H44.00E-16CH series of a forklift truck builds on over a quarter century of experience to cope with punishing heavy-duty cargo-handling applications. Garmco recently used leased cranes for loading, offloading and stocking containers on their premises. Commissioning of equipment was carried out at the company's facility by Y. B. A. Kanoo under the supervision of Wim Hofman, Hyster technical-support engineer, Middle East and Africa. The Hyster container handler was officially handed over to Garmco's operation department by Faisal Khalid Kanoo in the presence of Abdul Razaq Ameen, chief mechanical engineer; Adel Hamad, administration manager; Abdul Hussain Jaramal of Garmco; Freddy Sherman, EGM, Y. B. A. Kanoo commercial group; Rajesh Gopinath, manager, machinery division, Y. B. A. Kanoo and Hofman.
