The new passenger terminal at Bahrain International Airport is on track for completion next year, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication, citing a senior official.

The $1.1 billion expansion is financed by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, as part of Gulf Development Fund support pledged by Bahrain's neighbours in 2011, the report said.
