Forty Bapco employees have received the business English higher certificates at different levels from the University of Cambridge.

"The English language programme is one of the key elements to ensure personnel development, and the global qualification benchmarks our programme, confirming employee achievement," superintendent for communication, skills and IT training Keith Gardiner said at the certificate presentation ceremony.

The employees were: Local marketing: Ray Abdullah Al Awadhi (BEC higher) Plaint maintenance: Mahmood Dashti, Weam Ateya, Hafed Ahmed Al Aradi and Haytham Yaseen Hashim (all BEC higher).
Shutdown and major maintenance: Shaheed Mearaj (BEC higher) Power and utilities: Ahmed Ashoor (BEC higher) and Thabet Ahmed (KET).
Oil Processing: Mohammed Ebrahim Sanad and Essa Mohammed (both KET).
Oil storage and export: Yousif Salman, Jaffar A. Hassan Ali, Mahdi Ahmed Mohammed, Hussain Ali Hebail and Khalid Al Malki (all KET).
Fire, health and safety: Jassim A. Nabi Qattan (BEC higher) and Jaffar Mohammed Mikdad (KET).
Technical services: Ali Al Muallim (KET).
Plant engineering: Mohammed A. Rasool, Moayad Al Tahoo and Rami Juma Habib Ali (all BEC higher).
Process control and instrumentation: Masoud Amiri (BEC higher).
Awali services: A. Redha Nowrooz, A. Redha Ali Al Aliwat and Rayan Ibrahim Askar (all BEC Higher).
Security: Zahra Mohsin Ali (BEC preliminary); Ali A. Razaq Abbasi and Mohammed Baqer (both KET).
Medical: Yasser Al Radhia and Rawa S. Mansoor Al Alawi (both BEC preliminary); Ahmed Hassan Abu Hassan (KET).
Public relations: Ahlam Ebrahim (BEC higher).
Training and development: Reema Bushehri (BEC higher)
Financial accounting: Hussain Ahmed Jaffar, Mohammed Asad Mohammed and Fadheela Hassan Al Durazi (all BEC preliminary).
