BAGHDAD: The Iraq National Investment Commission (INIC) on Sunday said that it is currently working on the basic designs for the perimeter of Baghdad International Airport, a project which it said will provide many job opportunities in different fields.

"The project is being conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, concerned bodies, and the U.S. side," according to a statement released by the commission and received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

The commission will participate in several exhibitions and investment conferences inside and outside Iraq, including the exhibition for agricultural and industrial products, scheduled to take place in Arbil from March 2-6, the statement added.
