KUWAIT, June 27 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday several audiences at Bayan Palace.
His Highness received the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ali Al-Ghanim and his First Deputy Helal Meshari Al-Mutairi.
The meeting discussed the importance of supporting the private sector's role in developing the country's economy.
HH the Amir underscored to the officials that any obstacles facing the private sector would be dealt with decisively so that Kuwait's economy may prosper.
His Highness also received today Minister of Planning and State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs Dr. Massouma Al-Mubarak who introduced to him newly appointed officials at her ministry.
The newly appointed undersecretary for legal affairs in that ministry Faisal Saeed Al-Ghareeb presented to HH the Amir the gift of a book recently published by Al-Gtareeb's department.
