Atlas Aerospace, the new aerospace arm of Atlas Group and the Middle East and North Africa’s (Mena) leading aerospace conglomerate, is highlighting its latest in aircraft innovations and technologies during its debut participation at the Global Aerospace Summit, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The summit an exclusive event for senior international industry leaders in aerospace, aviation, space and defence industries, opened April 30 and will run till May 2, at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort.
This year’s event's summit sponsor, Atlas Aerospace, has expressed confidence in demonstrating their commitment towards the progressive development of the aerospace sector on both global and regional basis, said a statement.
Atlas Aerospace’s managing director Professor Imad Victor Lahoud is set to announce some of the company’s latest offerings and developments during his participation as a speaker at two of the event's panel discussions, it said.
The two sessions, 'Developing Local Capabilities through Defence Programmes,' and 'Middle Eastern Defence MRO,' will give Lahoud an opportunity to share important industry insights on timely issues and challenges within the aerospace industry, it added.
Lahoud said: “Our company is excited to be participating at this year's edition of the summit, the premier platform to the aerospace industry.”
“Being new to the UAE's and the region's thriving aerospace market, the event will allow us to maximise our exposure to the highest potential markets and transform a lot of knowledge to the UAE, where we already built a local capability in terms of engineering, design, manufacturing, installation and integration of aircraft,” he added.
