MAAN (Petra) - Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohammad Najjar on Thursday said the ministry has signed an agreement with the Aqaba Water Company (AWC) to manage the water sector in the Maan Governorate. During a visit to Maan yesterday, Najjar said the AWC has the technical and administrative experience to provide water services to citizens. He indicated that the ministry will update water systems in Maan and Tafileh next year as part of a Japanese grant to reduce water loss in the areas.
