United Arab Emirates-based real estate developer Select Group has awarded ALEC the main construction contract for its 1.6 billion UAE dirham ($434.7 million) Jumeirah Living Marina Gate development, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The contract for the waterfront development in Dubai Marina is valued at 600 million UAE dirhams, the statement added.
Launched in the first quarter of 2017, Jumeirah Living Marina Gate is the third and last tower within the luxury Marina Gate development.
It will include 104 serviced apartments, 389 private residences and 15 villas.
Select Group signed an agreement with Jumeirah Group in January 2016 to manage the development under its Jumeirah Living brand.
Enabling works have been completed and the main contractor has fully mobilised onsite, the statement said.
The development is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019.
ALEC was also appointed to work on The Residences at Marina Gate I and II.
