Dubai: Al Shirawi Group's investments in the industrial steel grating manufacturing have crossed Dh75 million, said a top official.
The group's new company, Oasis Metal Manufacturing, has inaugurated its new production line for industrial steel gratings.
"The new production line will meet the region's demand for gratings in sectors like petrochemicals, power generation, water treatment and construction," said Ali Abdullah Al Shirawi, executive director of Oasis Metal Manufacturing and a member of the Al Shirawi board.
Other group companies include Al Ghazal Iron Works and Al Shirawi Trading.
Al Shirawi said the new company is equipped with the latest technology that can manufacture international quality products at a high rate. "This project is focused on meeting the requirements of the region, which is currently riding on a huge economic surge," he said,
He added that the company's steel grinding unit was established due to high demand from Dubai's huge industrial sector which is now undergoing a complete overhaul.
Al Shirawi said after meeting the requirements of the local market, the company will seek to enter neighbouring markets, which are also witnessing heightened economic activity, especially in the construction sector.
"There will be a huge increase in demand for our products in the coming years," he said.
"This new company is engaged in manufacturing a wide range of diversified products and we are confident that our customers will be impressed with the quality of our products and services," he added.
"With qualified and experienced workforce, we are sure to enable the company to meet the expectations of our customers and be distinguished in the industry by delivering quality products and service," said the Oasis Metal Manufacturing official.
