DOHA: Al Majed technologies in a joint-venture with Indian IT firm Wrench introduced an online multi-task software solution to make turnkey project a success in Doha yesterday.

"Wrench, the software solution package will built efficiency managing turnkey projects by intergrading project, quality and engineering data management," said Amar Zidane, Genearl Manager, Al Majed at a seminar held at the Marriot Doha hotel.

The system will monitor and manage a complete overview of all the projects of a company happening at the same time. "This has made decision making faster and more effective," said Zidane.

This is the correct time for a product like Wrench to be launched as it gives many solutions to all challenges faced at oil and gas projects, Zidane added speaking on the timing of this launch.

Wrench was introduced with a motto 'lets make tomorrow a smarter one,' promising a flexible working system. Qatar Design Consortium has adopted the system six months ago when Wrench, had a soft launch.

"Wrench is an IT solution for managing the project life cycle efficiently as companies are now expanding globally with a virtual team spread over the world," said Varghese Daniel, Director, Wrench Solutions.

Wrench ables the project constructor, consultant and the client to collaborate, monitor, schedule and manage on line. These will integrate all functions could be tracked, monitored and archived through the system.

Wrench is a system practised over several countries in the world and for two years in the Gulf region.
