MUSCAT -- Al Hayat Educational Consultants, a Muscat based competence centre, has tied up with PMCC, to provide professional training to employees of a number of leading firms in the Sultanate specialising in project management, engineering-procurement construction, financial services and educational institutions. Companies that have benefited from Al Hayat's recent training initiatives include Oman Shapoorji, Khimji Ramdas, Hasan Juma Backer, Al Omaniya Financial Services, Al Majadeef and Caledonian College.
"Project management skills are very crucial to individuals, organisations and government departments as they successfully deliver on commitments within constraints. Al Hayat is making available Best Management Practices through PMI's PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Candidates undergoing the 4-day training programme will be eligible to take a test conducted by the Project Management Institute of USA and obtain a PMP certification.
