Abu Dhabi, Oct 31th, 2010 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development (ADCED) has just joined the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) as a new member.
Joining the EFQM membership is part of ADCED commitment to enhance awareness and spreading the culture of excellence and quality across all the organization and among all its employees. EFQM is a global non-for-profit membership foundation providing a platform of more than 500 members covering more than 55 countries and 50 industries where public as well as private organizations exchange their knowledge, experience and good practice on sustainable excellence. Based in Belgium, EFQM is the custodian of the EFQM Excellence Model, a business model which is helping over 30 000 organizations around the globe to strive for Sustainable Excellence. Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, Director General of ADCED said "we are delighted to be a new member of EFQM.
