Ajman, 28 Oct. 2012 (WAM) - Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Tourism Development Department and Head of the Ajamn Ruler's Media Office received today a delegation from the National Media Council.
He discussed with the delegation members means to foster strategic partnership in the fields of media. Sheikh Abdul Aziz expressed Government of Ajman's readiness to provide all facilities to the NMC stakeholders, including the licensing procedures and media contents. "Media should be capable of interacting with all segments of the local and international communities and to promote the progress witnessed in the UAE in all domains," he added. The NMC delegation members briefed Sheikh Abdul Aziz about the Council's vision for a world-class media sector in the UAE. They also highlighted its strategic plans, services and activities. Also highlighted were the recent achievements made by the NMC, including the top award won by 'The Turtle', a film made for showing at the UAE Pavilion at the Expo 2012 Yeosu, Korea, at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Festival.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2012.
