BAGHDAD: The municipal council of Baghdad said on Sunday that it would embark on two main sewage water-discharging lines in Baghdad's al-Rasafa district at a total cost of 160 billion Iraqi dinars, or $133 million.

"The council already started on al-Quds line and would very soon start on al-Khansaa line," according to a statement by the council as received by Aswat al-Iraq.

"The two lines should be among the important mega projects to serve a large number of people in al-Rasafa intersection," it read.
