Dubai, 22 June 2010 (WAM) - Dnata Saudi Arabia and Saudi Telecommunication Company have recently signed a contract for Dnata to provide travel management services to the entire STC network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) is the leading national provider of telecommunication services with over 20,000 employees in Saudi Arabia. The company, which has won many awards in the telecommunications business, comprises a Corporate Centre, a number of functional units and a range of business units.

In recent years, STC has gone beyond its local borders to the international markets, forming a network of businesses and investments in a number of GCC countries, Asia and Africa. The company now has a foot print across Kuwait, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and South Africa. This has increased their need for a dedicated corporate travel specialist to assist them with their travel arrangements and ticketing.

Speaking at the contract signing recently, Omar Bin Mohammed Al Turky, Vice President of STC, said, "STC strongly believes in the Dnata brand and has entrusted Dnata to manage both its entire corporate travel business and also to add value to the personal travel requirements of its employees."Dnata's approach to travel management is based on constant evolution and improvement in response to customer feedback as well as proven commitment to its clients' individual business needs.

Mohammed Mosaid, General Manager, Dnata Saudi Arabia, said, "Dnata HRG will establish full-time implant services based in STC Head office, Riyadh, as well as providing a 24-hour service to cater for STC's retail and leisure enquiries. We look forward to working with STC and to ensuring that their full range of requirements and expectations are fully met."The latest agreement and contract signing is part of Dnata's strategy to expand its services by seeking long term partnerships with progressive organisations like STC.
