AMS and IMDAAD partner to provide Facilities Management services in the Middle-East
Partnership to begin with the United Arab Emirates and extend to GCC & Levant Countries
Abu Dhabi, April 21st, 2009: Aswaq Management & Services (AMS) - the Abu Dhabi-based mixed-use property consultancy, sales, leasing and management company, has entered into an agreement with IMDAAD - the Dubai-based integrated facility management solutions company - to provide facility management services including consultancy, strata and operation management, health, safety and environmental services in the region.
The partnership, which consists of a comprehensive cycle of facility management services, will focus on AMS ' assigned properties in Abu Dhabi, in the other emirates as well as in the GCC and Levant Countries.
The agreement was signed by AMS Chairman H.E. Nasser Mohammed Al Nowais and Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Chief Executive Officer of IMDAAD LLC to identify AMS Projects and form a JV Company.
He further added: " IMDAAD provides high standard expertise in facilities management and has an excellent track record of maintaining many key properties across the region. Their technical know-how, logistics and human resource capabilities will create synergies with AMS to offer property consultancy, assistance and management services to property owners and developers from initial design to operation stages. We are extremely confident that our partnership with IMDAAD will augur well for AMS , its affiliates and most important our clients, as we are assured of effective and timely management across all our properties across the region."
He further added:"We have been associated with some key projects across the region that has provided us with a competitive edge over the others. Our venturing with AMS places new responsibilities on us and we are confident of executing them effectively and seamlessly in a most professional manner. IMDAAD 's team of experts engage with clients right from the inception of a project and help recognize and execute strategic solutions designed to streamline the operation of facilities and will take charge of the total management solutions. These services will include high standard outsourced management services in facilities management, facilities management consultancy, specialist facilities services and employee welfare activities.
AMS is under assignment to handle consultancy, leasing and management for various projects in the region. AMS and its regional affiliates in the GCC-Levant region -- AMS-Dubai, Gulf Management & Services in Bahrain, Beirut Real Estate Management & Services s.a.l. in Lebanon and Amman Real Estate & Management Services in Jordan manage 19 projects, covering a combined Gross Leasable and / or Sellable Area (GLA / GSA) of over 1.6 million square meters, thus representing a significant potential for this new partnership.
