Event organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai

Dubai, UAE - January 30th 2011 - under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Chamber's Printing and Publishing Group (PPG), has announced last night the award winners of the fifth 'Dubai International Print Award 2011' during a gala dinner held at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai. Awards were given to 69 winners across different categories of which 48 represented off-set printing while 21 were from digital printing.

"I would like to congratulate all the winners for their outstanding work and contribution within the printing and publishing industry," said Ahmad Bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Chairman of the Printing and Publishing Group. "DIPA 2011 is representative of the pride and superior printing quality being brought forward within the Arab World. Selecting the final winners from all the entries was certainly a challenge, and I would to thank the judges for their time and expertise that they have dedicated toward this task."

Commenting on the event, Hassan Al Hashemi, Director, External Relations, Dubai Chamber, said: "Since 2006, DIPA has witnessed an increase in entries and I am proud to see such enthusiasm and commitment toward printing quality throughout the region. I would also like to thank all the participating members and sponsors for their valued and continued support in putting together this year's DIPA Awards."

Offset printing categories include; Flyers, POP Material, Posters, Magazine, Books, Annual Reports, Cards, Calendars, Brochures, Catalogues, Directories, Newspapers, Newsletter, Handcraft jobs and Innovation. Digital printing will now have seven categories; POP Material, Posters, Annual Reports, Cards, Magazines, Flyer-Direct Mail, Brochures and Catalogues.

Offset Printing:

Digital Printing:

Gold was awarded to: Zabeel Printing Press (1), International Printing Press (2), Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing (1), Colorlines Printing Press (2), IMC Advertising (1) and Colorlines Printing Press.

Silver was awarded to: Modern Printing Press (4), International Printing Press (2) and Print Outs (1).

Bronze was awarded to: Print Outs (1), Colorlines Printing Press (2), International Printing Press (1), Modern Printing Press (1), Asiatic Printing Press (1) and Connect 4 (1).
