UAE - Dubai - Global consulting and technology firm Booz Allen Hamilton has announced the election of Lutfi Zakhour as Senior Vice President, overseeing the firm's Financial Services practice at a time of rapid transformation in the sector.
The election makes Mr. Zakhour the seventh partner in Booz Allen Hamilton's senior leadership team in the Middle East and North Africa.
In his new role, Mr. Zakhour will be pivotal in taking the wider financial service offerings of Booz Allen Hamilton to the next level in the Middle East and North Africa.

Recently Mr. Zakhour co-authored a Booz Allen report titled 'Doubling Digital Payments in MENA' which focused on the potential to create new and sustainable revenue streams for commercial banks in the region. His recommendations include creating a new payment infrastructure and introducing regulations to promote digital commerce and drive innovation.
Prior to joining Booz Allen in 2003, Mr. Zakhour served as a hardware engineer at Sapphire Communications. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from McGill University and an MBA from INSEAD.
