Nart Bouran: 'Newsroom' Re-defines Concept of News Shows with Innovative Approach

Abu Dhabi-UAE: March 1, 2015 - As part of its latest portfolio of news programs, Sky News Arabia has announced the launch of 'Newsroom', set to air from March 1, 2015. With the roll-out of the new show, the channel seeks to present its on-going vision and offer regional audiences with an up-to-the-minute news coverage as well as in-depth discussion and analyses of topical issues and events.

A team of five distinguished anchors, comprising both veteran and young talents, will host 'Newsroom'. Muhannad Al Khatib and Fadila Souissi will lead the show, supported by Chantal Abi Khalil, Yousef Sharif and Jarir Dababneh. 'Newsroom' will host a variety of experts, specialists and decision-makers, and also deploy modern technologies to present a more visual insight into the news.

Featuring a fresh format, the two-hour show will closely examine current issues and events from the Arab region and beyond through an innovative approach featuring News bulletins, expert analysis and discussions. 'Newsroom' will also put a social and human touch on current events with complete objectivity and professionalism to reflect Sky News Arabia's commitment to accurate and ethical reporting.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Muhannad Al Khatib, Anchor at Sky News Arabia, said: "We are very excited to introduce the 'Newsroom' concept that will definitely prove a regional turning-point in the world of broadcast news. The two-hour show will broadcast at 11:00 pm five times a week, Sunday through Thursday.
