The Kingdom's non-oil exports fell by value in the second quarter of 2015 to about (46.64) billion riyals compared to (56.19) billion riyals for the same quarter of last year, a decrease of (9.55) billion riyals or a percentage of (17%).

On the other hand, the value of the Kingdom's imports fell, in the second quarter of 2015, by (2.2%) to about (166.23) billion riyals, down (3.82) billion riyals for the same quarter of last year which recorded about (170.05) billion riyals.

The quarterly report issued by the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) for the second quarter of 2015 pointed out that the Kingdom's non-oil commodity exports registered a decline of 1% compared with the first quarter of 2015, in which they registered about (47.10) billion riyals, as the value of the Kingdom's imports recorded a rise of 2.3% compared to the previous quarter which registered about 162.53 billion riyals.

CDSI Director General of Economic Statistics said the Kingdom's non-oil commodity exports were down (28.06%) in the second quarter of 2015 compared to (33.04%) for the same quarter of last year, but this ratio was low from the first quarter of 2015, which registered (28.98%).
