MOSCOW, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Russia plans to increase wheat supplies to Egypt, Russia's President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

According to Putin, Russia sold 4 million tonnes of grains to Egypt last year, covering 40 percent of Egypt's needs. Egypt was the second-largest buyer of Russian wheat after Turkey last marketing year.
