Muscat: Oman's jewellery brand 'Deema' is all set to launch a new collection made available for the first time in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The brand uses traditional Arabic designs with a modern twist using the finest gems and materials. The brand, led by mother-daughter design duo Shadya and Suad Al Riyami, was founded in 2008 as the first ever jewellery brand to be born in Oman.

The award winning design house specialises in the creation of bespoke luxury jewellery, chinaware, and fine artefacts.

Featuring one of a kind, handmade creation inspired by arts, heritage, nature and culture, Deema's pioneering fourth collection will be available in September for the first time in the UAE, via the soon to launch e-commerce site www.deemaoman.com.

The highly anticipated new collection boasts unique pieces of the highest quality. With an emphasis on excellent craftsmanship and an innovative twist on traditions, the brand reflects the very essence of luxury.

Four distinct lines make up the 'Deema' brand. These are Islamic heritage, heritage, architecture, and nature. Each includes its own beautiful assortments, with individual inspirations and telling their own exceptional story.

Peace Collection

Luminescent, lemon quartz, blue topaz and blue aquamarine stones are blended with 18K yellow gold and diamonds to create the Islamic eight-pointed star pattern, promoting the heritage and richness of Islamic patterns and architectural designs, the inspiration behind the collection.

Harmony Collection

Richly hued blue and green gemstones conjuring up thoughts of deep oceans, compliment perfectly with lavish 18K white gold and diamonds, to create astonishing beauty in this luxurious collection. The materials symbolically reflect the nautical heritage of the Arabian Gulf region, with the blues representing the seas that connect the land with the rest of the world in harmony.

Palm collection

Amethyst gemstones and diamonds are intricately set against earthy tones of sapphire dark green, light green and 18K yellow gold, evoking thoughts of the true beauty of mother nature. The 'Palm' is inspired by the striking date trees, the fruit of the Middle East.

Other 'Deema' collections include Eqaam, Deco Art and exclusively for men, Oman El Izz, Opera and Riyam.

Year after year, 'Deema' has been recognised for its revolutionary impact on Omani jewellery designs, and has been celebrating the brand's successes through its presence at prestigious events like Jewellery Arabia (2010), International Jewellery London Exhibition (2011), the celebration of 150 years anniversary of life and legacy of Sir Henry Royce (2012), in addition to Knooz for Fine Jewellery and Watch Exhibition (2012), and the celebration of the 110th anniversary of Rolls Royce (2013), etc.

In mid-2011, the house revealed its fine dining tableware collection for the first time to the public. Unique chinaware sets were commissioned by the house's clients to meet their unique requirements for customised features and represented limited edition issues.

With the increasing market appetite for other 'Deema's products, the house introduced a new line that is aimed at designing sophisticated high-end corporate gifts in 2013.

'Deema' is known for its exclusive designs, highest quality, and excellent craftsmanship reflecting the essence of luxury. Combining all these with the culture and heritage of Oman has made 'Deema' the sought after brand.

The brand's products became desired gifts proudly presented to high profile official visitors to the Sultanate such as the heads of states, and other important personalities.
