MUSCAT -- Noboru Sato, Executive Officer, President, Overseas Marketing, Komastu Ltd has arrived in Muscat on an official visit. He is here as a special guest of the Saud Bahwan Group, the Komatsu distributor in Oman.
Sato has held various responsibilities at Komatsu Ltd. Graduated from Hitotsubashi University, Japan in Commercial Science in 1980, he started his career with Komastu Ltd the same year. In 1992, he assumed responsibilities as the General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Office, Komatsu Asia & Pacific Pte. In 1995, he was appointed Marketing Manager, Asia/Oceania Group, Overseas Marketing, and in 2001 he became General Manager, North America Operation Group, Construction & Mining Equipment Marketing Division.
Sato became Executive Vice-President, Komatsu America Corporation in 2006 and Vice- President, Overseas Marketing Construction & Mining Equipment Marketing Division in 2008. Sato served as Vice-President, Overseas Marketing, General Manager, Demining & Reconstruction Department, and Construction & Mining Equipment Marketing Division in 2009.
From 2010, he has been the Executive Officer, President -- Overseas Marketing and General Manager, Demining & Reconstruction Department and Construction & Mining Equipment Marketing Division at Komatsu. A keen professional with an immaculate professional record, Sato enjoys golf, reading and dog-walking, in his spare time.
Komatsu is the world's best-known name in construction equipment and offers the widest range in hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers and motor graders, off-highway dump trucks, etc.
During his stay in Oman Sato will visit the Komatsu integrated facility at Ghala.
