MUSCAT - Noboru Sato, Executive Officer, President, Overseas Marketing, Komastu Ltd, who was on a visit to Oman, praised the efforts of the Saud Bahwan Group in propelling Komatsu to market leadership status in the country, a slot it has held for more than two decades. During his visit to the Komatsu Integrated Facility at Ghala, he lauded the Group Chairman, Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan, for his massive investments and the Group's outstanding customer care record.
He said: "This magnificent facility speaks volumes about the vision and commitment of the Group Chairman, Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan. His strategic initiatives have placed Komatsu at the No1 spot in Oman. We are proud to be associated with a dynamic personality like him." Elaborating on the integrated facility, he said: "I am truly impressed with this state-of-the-art facility. It is undoubtedly one of the finest in the world. I am also delighted with the world class customer service extended by our partners, the Saud Bahwan Group. The Group has set entirely new standards for the industry," he added.
Spread over an area of 22,000 sq mt, the Komatsu Integrated Facility -- with computerized service operations and dedicated environment for unit repairs and state-of-the-art overhead crane -- is one of the largest for construction equipment sales, parts and service in the region. Sato also held business discussions with some of Komatsu's leading corporate customers in Oman. "I am impressed by the excellent rapport that Saud Bahwan Group has established with its clientele," he added.
