Under the theme 'Kuwait in Egypt'

Kuwait: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announced its participation in the 10th Kuwait Week in Cairo, which was held under the theme “Kuwait in Egypt”. Held under the auspices of Egyptian Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail, and with the attendance of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt, Mohammad Al-Thuwaikh, the exhibition took place from November 14 to 16 2017 at the Nile Ritz-Carlton.

The exhibition welcomed a large number of representatives from Kuwaiti public and private institutions, investment companies, as well as representatives from both the Egyptian and Kuwaiti business communities. During the exhibition, participants and attendees were given the opportunity to explore investment prospects, learn about the latest projects currently taking place between both countries, and engage directly with sector specialists and leading business investors.

“KIB always strives to participate in major regional events which serve to reaffirm the strength of the deeply-rooted relations between Kuwait and Egypt and the friendly relations between both countries’ people,” said Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB. “Our participation in this exhibition also sheds the light on remarkable developments achieved by national institutions and entities, underscores the growth of national economic activity, and showcases various other achievements.” 

Najia also pointed out that this event functions as an economic platform, which aims at boosting investment activity and facilitating business deals between both countries. Over the past nine years, the exhibition has successfully played its part in fostering closer relations between Kuwait and Egypt.
