The Jordanian film "The Last Friday", directed by Yahya Abdallah, was chosen to enter the official competition in the International Film Festival of Rabat, Morocco next June.
Shot in Jordan in 2010, the 88-minute movie was supported by the Royal Film Commission through its Education Feature programme.
In addition to "The last Friday", Abdallah has produced a number of short fictional and documentary works that have been shown in festivals worldwide.
