AMMAN (Petra) - The health ministry and the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) on Thursday agreed to extend a technical cooperation agreement signed between the two sides in the field of medical engineering. Under the agreement, signed in the presence of HRH Princess Sumaya, president of El Hassan Science City and the RSS, the society will continue providing calibration services for test and measurement equipment used in maintenance of various medical equipment owned by the Ministry of Health. Also under the agreement, a team from both sides will test medical devices meant for new hospitals or health centres. Princess Sumaya said cooperation between the two entities has led to many accomplishments in the field of medical engineering at the local and regional levels.
