BAGHDAD, May 1 (Reuters) - Iraq exported oil at an average rate of 3.364 million barrels per day in April, higher than the March average of 3.286 million barrels, Oil Ministry spokesman Asim Jihad said on Sunday.

The figure is for exports by the central government in Baghdad which is now only shipping crude from the southern terminals, and not through a northern pipeline to Turkey, Jihad said.

Iraq, which relies on oil for nearly all its revenue, earned $3.343 billion from the April exports, he added.
