Nass Corporation Sponsors Safety & Health Conference & Exhibition
Nass Corporation, Bahrain's leading construction and solutions provider announced their silver sponsorship of the First National Occupational Safety & Health Conference scheduled to take place from the 22nd to 24th May, 2012 at the Gulf Hotel under the theme 'Creating safety Culture for Decent & Safe Work'.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Labour under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister H.H. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, the two-day event will highlight the necessity of enhancing the standards of occupational safety and health performance on a national level.
The main aim of the event is to acknowledge the impact and importance of health and safety across various organizations. The exhibition will focus on the different types of safety gear, equipment, technological procedures and programmes utilized by establishments and industries across various sectors and applied in different scenarios.
"The ongoing development of international health and safety management systems have highlighted the importance of adopting an effective health and safety strategy. All sectors need to understand that an investment in occupational health and safety is in reality an investment in the future. As part of the event, participants will also take part in a special conference and workshop where several specialists will address different topics ranging from the right safety culture to be adopted, the type of training and qualifications on managing work environment services and occupational safety management across various sectors.
