20th September 2011, Abu Dhabi. Due to successful closure of new and significant projects ILF Consulting Engineers Abu Dhabi has crossed the mark of 200 locally employed staff. The UAE subsidiary of the global ILF Group was founded as recently as 2002, ever since it has grown as a partner of major clients including IPIC, ADCO, GASCO, Transco ADWEA, FEWA and Dragon Oil.
A further 40 locally employed staff have been added in the recent weeks for a Project Management Consultancy contract with PetroChina in Halfaya in Iraq. This field development project will run for 15 months and will be executed in Iraq, Dubai and Beijing. ILF will contribute its 40 years of experience in the Oil&Gas sector with teams resident in all project locations.
The Halfaya Project is only the latest addition of a string of successful projects in the Middle East that include world class projects like the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline for International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC). This project is a 3.2 Billion US Dollar crude oil pipeline running over 370 km between Habshan and Fujairah with pump stations and a substantial tank farm and loading terminal. ILF manages this challenging and complex project for and on behalf of IPIC.
ILF Abu Dhabi offers locally a full suite of engineering services ranging from feasibility studies, over Front End Engineering and Design up to Construction Supervision and Start-up. Sectors covered are the Oil&Gas and Water & Energy industries. The services are performed with an experienced team of engineers resident in the UAE covering all disciplines. Extended resources and specialist expertise is available from the global network of the ILF Group. From Abu Dhabi the whole region of the Middle East is covered along with a global responsibility for water desalination.
