Jordan 8 March 2011 - Global Investment House - Jordan (Global Jordan) announced the appointment of Mr. Wa'el Al Sunna' as the Head of Investment Banking at Global Jordan. This appointment supports the company's commitment to developing its business in the Jordanian market.
Mr. Khaled Zakaria, Chief Executive Officer of Global Jordan said, "It is our pleasure to welcome Mr. Al Sunna' to Global Jordan's team. We are confident that his background and experience in the financial sector will play a pivotal role towards the company's development in the Jordanian market."
Mr. Al Sunna' in turn expressed his pleasure in joining Global and stressed on his plans to further develop the Investment Banking business in Global Jordan.
Mr. Al Sunna' carries 14 years of experience in the corporate finance and consultancy field. He holds a masters degree in International Securities & Investment Banking from the University of Reading, UK and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut. Prior to joining Global, Mr. Al Sunna' worked for a number of financial institutions in Jordan and the region.
It is worth mentioning that Global Jordan was established in 2005 as a full-fledged investment company licensed by the Jordan Securities Commission providing services in Asset Management, Investment Banking and Financial Advisory and is among Global's largest operations outside Kuwait. The company also offers brokerage services through its brokerage arm Universal House Brokerage.
Global Jordan has played an important role in enhancing Jordan's capital markets through promoting investment opportunities in the country, and providing clients with services and investment solutions that cater to their individual needs.
