Dubai, January 27, 2015: Candidates looking to sit the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam can now take advantage of new registration, preparation and testing services at Canadian University Dubai (CUD).

CUD has joined hands with the Center for Examination Services (CES) to enable students to register for and sit the exam at the University's campus in downtown Dubai. In addition to IELTS testing, the new collaboration will also provide candidates with the opportunity to register for an IELTS test preparation course.

IELTS has been a respected English language testing systems for over 25 years and continues to set the standard for testing across the globe. The test is accepted by over 9,000 organizations worldwide for education, immigration and other English language proficiency requirements, and was taken by more than 2.2 million people last year.

As a dedicated and approved Testing Centre, CES will also be bringing their IELTS expertise to deliver a program of 30-hour IELTS preparation courses at CUD. The course aims to help students develop the language skills and test-taking techniques to help them reach their full potential in the IELTS exam.

The new partnership with CES will provide IELTS candidates from across Dubai with a conveniently located one-stop-shop to register, prepare for, and sit their IELTS exam.

The preparation course is a particularly important feature of the collaboration, providing access to a structured program of support and guidance to help candidates who are planning to take the test to maximize their final score.

The first IELTS exam at CUD is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
