H.E. Mr Paulo Cesar Meira de Vasconcellos, Ambassador alongwith Mr Kaiser Araujo, Head of Commercial Section and Ms Leila Pacheco, Head of the Consular Section, Embassy of Brazil visited Al Maya Supermarket at Murooj Complex, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group.
Mr Kamal Vachani welcomed H.E. Ambassador and other members of the high level delegation to Al Maya Supermarket and assured full support to import Brazilian products exported by Brazilian companies through Al Maya Group. Al Maya Group stocks / imports a large number of Brazilian products.
Al Maya Supermarkets is one of the leading Supermarkets chain in the UAE has a sizeable share of the UAE retail market. Al Maya Group, the UAE-based business conglomerate, the winner of Superbrand status for 2013 has over 40 Supermarkets/Hypermarket in the GCC countries in addition to other businesses. Al Maya operates Daily Gourmet store in JBR which stock Exclusive Gourmet products, which is one of the specialised store in Dubai, this was informed by Mr Kamal Vachani.
Mr Kamal Vachani said H.E. Ambassador mentioned that if there is a possibility we will be organizing Brazilian week in Al Maya Supermarket in collaboration with Brazilian companies in the near future.
Mr Vachani, thanked H.E. Ambassador, Head of Commercial Section and Head of the Consular Section in their visit to Al Maya Supermarket.
