Sulaimaniya-Kurdistan-Iraq, 30th June 2015: Asiacell Telecommunications Company announced that it will undertake a campaign named 'Smile for Peace for Anbar IDPs', in cooperation with the UN International Organization for Migration 'IOM'.

The project comprises of establishing two water treatment plants to provide drinking water to both 'Al-Wahda' and 'Al Khadhra'' Anbar IDPs camps in Baghdad. As well as to provide milk and other child needs to IDP families.

A unique service has also been offered by Asiacell, in cooperation with REFUNITE, an international organization, and the Swedish Ericsson, to enable IDPs and refugees to look for their missing beloved ones through their mobile phones by calling 380 for free or sending free text messages.

Abdulla Hassan, Asiacell's Integrated Marketing Communication Manager said that the 'smile for peace' campaign will provide support and services to thousands of IDPs; this is a moral and human commitment and part of Asaicell's responsibility toward community.
