ALGIERS, Oct 29, 2012 (AFP) - Algerian oil group Sonatrach and South Korean firm GS Engineering and Construction signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday with a view to creating a joint venture, news agency APS said.
Under the agreement, GS will share its expertise with the publicly owned Algerian company for carrying out engineering studies, construction supervision, project management and auditing installations, APS said.
"We have know-how and much experience in the engineering sector which we will put at the disposal of Algerian oil investment," GS vice president Woo-Chan Lee said upon the signing of the MoU in the Algerian capital.
