ABU DHABI, 30th June, 2015 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Airports today announced that it has successfully achieved the ISO 27001:2013 standard of information security across all its IT systems.

This is the first time that a UAE airport has earned this prestigious accreditation. The company also successfully re-certified its broader suite of IT services to the ISO/IEC 20000 level.

Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, said, "This new achievement exemplifies Abu Dhabi Airports? focus on innovation and commitment to embed best practices across our entire operations, including the iconic and ambitious Midfield Terminal Building." Abu Dhabi Airports currently provides a wide range of IT services to more than a hundred customers operating at the airport. Services include airport IT, data centre, and professional business services, which are provided within the airport's campus.

Al Mazrouei added, "We take customer service very seriously and it is our commitment to provide our clients with the best possible services at the highest possible standards."
