As its workforce surges past the 55,000 mark, Transguard joins forces with Al Tadawi Medical Centre to provide staff with quality healthcare
Leading UAE-based business support services company, Transguard Group in partnership with UAE healthcare provider Al Tadawi Medical Centre have jointly opened their second fully equipped medical facility in Transguard’s employee accommodation facility in Jebel Ali.
The partnership has cost the companies a combined AED2.07 million for the construction, fit out and equipping the healthcare facility. Al Tadawi will staff and operate the centre with two doctors (in two shifts), three nurses, and support staff - receptionist, supervisor and cleaning. The centre will be open Saturday to Thursday each week from 8:00am to 10:00pm for the 9,000 plus employees on the Jebel Ali site.
“Our first partnership with Al Tadawi in the Muhaisna area of Dubai was a resounding success – during the first 10 months of operation almost 16,000 employees were welcomed to the centre. Our people are our most important asset and their overall wellbeing is our number one priority,” said Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group.

The new administrative process allows existing Transguard employees to use their current medical insurance and any mandatory costs not covered by the company’s corporate insurance, can be billed direct to Transguard, streamlining the administrative process.
“The ease of access provided by the Al Tadawi medical centre will give our staff confidence that their welfare is front of mind for the business which in turn is having a positive impact on team moral,” said Ward.
In addition to medical consultations the centre will have a fully equipped pharmacy and offer same day appointments. The clinic will also have an integrated information system minimising lengthy referral processes.
