CAIRO, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Investment by foreign oil companies in Egypt reached $8.1 billion in 2016-2017, up from $6.6 billion the year before, Petroleum Minister Tarek El-Molla told Reuters on Wednesday.

Egypt's fiscal year runs from July to June.
