Dubai, UAE - Zurich has strengthened its Zurich International Life team with the appointment of Reena Vivek as Chief Operations Officer overseeing the Isle of Man, Middle East, Hong Kong and Singapore operations.
Based in Dubai, Vivek will be responsible for Operations, IT and Business Change across all ZIL Businesses and will report to Clive Baker, CEO Zurich International Life. Additionally, she will continue to support Walter Jopp, CEO Zurich insurance company for Middle East related activities.
Vivek has successfully delivered significant improvements in customer service in the Middle East including Zurich's market leading Quotation & Application sales app. Further, she has led Zurich's ongoing service improvement initiatives using the principles of design thinking, including the progression into digital servicing. These have culminated in Zurich winning The Most Innovative Insurer Award (Technology) at the Middle East North Africa Insurance Review awards in 2015.
Vivek brings extensive knowledge to the role having worked in locations such as the Middle East, UK, India, France, Kuwait and the Czech Republic. She has over 19 years of experience in insurance, wealth management and retail banking, with a proven track record of improving customer experience and achieving efficiency through innovation, automation, right-sourcing and process improvement.
