Travel restrictions around the world have eased, allowing people to fly overseas again. The UAE’s major carriers have resumed long-haul travel and restarted more than 140 flights so far.

In Dubai, tourists and travellers, including stranded residents abroad, are welcome to fly in, provided safety protocols and other entry requirements are met.

Dubai-based Emirates said it has restarted international flights covering at least 69 destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, while Etihad has resumed more than 60 routes.

Low-cost carrier flydubai has also re-deployed its commercial passenger planes to serve passengers flying to and from 18 destinations.

The UAE government lifted its restrictions on Emirates and Etihad in June, which is traditionally a busy month for the country’s travel calendar, when thousands of expatriates fly back to their home countries or spend their summer break overseas.

UAE residents will also be celebrating the EID holidays later this month, another historically busy season for the travel and hospitality industry.

For those who have travel plans during the EID holidays, or those who simply want to visit friends and family abroad, here is the updated list of destinations that the UAE’s airlines now operate in:
