Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, will highlight its latest developments during its participation in the 23rd edition of Cairo ICT 2019, being held next month in Egypt.

Cairo ICT, one of the leading technology events in the Middle East, will run from December 1 to 4, at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo under the theme ‘The Digital Xperience’, said a statement.

Through its participation, DSOA will introduce visitors to its latest development in DSO – Dubai Digital Park (DDP), the first integrated smart city in Dubai that seeks to set a new global benchmark for smart technology solutions and supports the objectives of the UAE Strategy for the Fourth Industrial Revolution that aims to enhance the UAE's position as a global hub for piloting cutting-edge technologies and contribute to developing a competitive national economy based on knowledge, innovation and future solutions, it said.

Constructed by DSOA with an investment exceeding Dh1.5 billion ($408.42 million), Dubai Digital Park will feature a comprehensive range of 60 smart services, worth more than 100 million, which will be offered through a unified and secure platform that effectively integrates the operational requirements of enterprises with the needs of employees, residents and visitors.

Dubai Digital Park comprises 71,000 sq m of office space, 25,000 sq m of commercial space with 85 shops, and 46,000 square meters of residential area with 235 apartments that are equipped with the latest smart technologies. Its host of value-added contemporary lifestyle facilities includes a Radisson Red hotel that consists of a 112-key business hotel and 59 furnished apartments, a convention centre, restaurants, cafés, fitness centres, running tracks and cycling trails, a shopping centre and an underground parking garage that can accommodate more than 2,000 cars. In addition, the project features eight Signature Boutique buildings ranging from 50 to 10,000 sq m that provide ideal locations for corporate headquarters. The integrated community offers people the opportunity to live and work.
