The Emirati telecom operators du and Etisalat are reportedly collaborating with the US multinational technology company Apple to provide dual SIM technology to the users of upcoming iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR versions.

All those phones will have eSIM and nano-SIM as announced by Apple last week.

“Use of e-SIM in iPhone may be disabled when purchased from some carriers,” according to Apple’s official site.

The GCC customers rushed to preorder iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max from 14 September, while both phones will be available in stores as of 21 September and iPhone XR will be offered for pre-ordering on 19 October, to be sold a week later.
