Boubyan Bank has announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement with ExpandCart, a platform specialized in building online shops for business owners, companies, and retail shops, without the need to seek any technical expertise. This comes as a part of the bank’s continued strategy to cooperate with digital startups in order to provide the best services for its customers.

Hamad Al-Fouzan, Head of Innovation and Partnerships at Boubyan Bank, stated: “With the accelerating developments witnessed by the digital business and the ongoing growth of e-commerce in the region, Boubyan Bank always seeks to support and incentivize its customers from the SMEs, to offer their products and services in the market.”

ExpandCart is the largest e-commerce platform in the Middle East, allowing enterprises & SMEs’ owners from around the world to avail from many services to create their online store quickly without the need for any technical background or assistance. Additionally, it provides marketing, support, and hosting services as well as digital marketing services, P.O.S and after sale services.

For his part, Eng. It is worth mentioning that e-commerce in the MENA region has grown to USD 8.3 billion, and is growing at an annual rate of 25%. It is also expected to reach USD 28.5 billion by 2022.
