Bahrain has delivered nearly 30,000 residential units and services to eligible citizens across the kingdom over the past five years.
 
The drive follows the royal order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to construct 40,000 units for citizens, said a statement from Ministry of Housing.
 
The ministry is currently distributing 5,000 housing units to eligible recipients following an order issued by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
 
These include ownership apartments, units and residential plots in each of East Hidd Town, the Buhair Project, Salman Town and other key areas across the kingdom.
 
According to the ministry, construction has been completed on Salman Town, East Hidd Town, Ramli residential project over the past five years, while work on East Sitra Town is currently on track.
 
The ministry has also completed work on 40 other residential blocks across the kingdom, which contributed to meeting the needs of thousands of Bahraini families, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
