Philips has partnered with Abdali Medical Center (AM), the new modern multi-disciplinary hospital, which is now open to patients in Amman, Jordan. In collaboration with, Philips, Abdali Medical Center has commissioned the latest technologies to improve safety, ensure effective diagnoses and treatments that ultimately lead to improved patient experience. This includes the latest Philips Innovations in Image Guided Therapy, advanced Patient Monitoring, a full range of premium Ultrasound units and Digital X-ray.

Azurion, the new-generation image guided therapy platform, allows Interventionists to easily and confidently perform a wide range of routine and complex procedures with a unique user experience, helping AM to optimize lab performance and provide superior care. Philips Azurion is suitable for performing full angiography studies for cardiac, electrophysiology, neuro and vascular procedures. Patient monitoring

Abdali Medical Center acquired the full range of Philips Patient Monitoring Solutions, thus offering patients a seamless, smooth, and continuously monitored journey. The newest range of Philips Intellivue monitors, including Intellivue X3 for transport and Intellivue MX800 advanced monitors, are deployed across all AM units and high acuity departments. In addition, through the Intellibridge Enterprise, AM is able to connect and integrate all Philips Diagnostic Cardiology portfolio and achieve a complete and full patient connected care experience.

Ultrasound Imaging

Philips and AM have collaborated on Ultrasound imaging to focus on confident, accurate diagnosis, by using innovations that help deliver the best care for patients. AM’s priority is to provide exceptional patient care, supported by safe, reproducible, highly sensitive and definitive ultrasound offerings from the Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System.

Additionally, Philips nSIGHT Imaging helps AM create images with optimal resolution - down to the pixel level — and brings powerful imaging performance to every exam, for new levels of clinical definition and clarity.

To address imaging challenges, Philips has provided AM with the xMATRIX, which is Philips’ most cutting edge and versatile ultrasound transducer technology. With the touch of a button, patients can go through fast and easy exams with excellent image quality and accurate results.  Philips designed the X5-1 xMATRIX transducer to offer outstanding 2D image quality and to help scan difficult-to-image patients.

The Philips xMATRIX performance becomes even more powerful when it is combined with the latest technology of the X7-2t Live 3D transesophageal transducer. Its acoustic design provides high frequencies and width, providing increased resolution and tissue filling in 2D and Live 3D. This latest technology provides deep penetration and high contrast resolution so clinicians can make more confident diagnoses.
