Riyadh – Mubasher: More than 11,000 construction licences have been issued in Saudi Arabia via the “Balady” platform during December 2020, according to a statement on Monday.

The “Balady” platform is affiliated to the kingdom's Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.

Most of the granted licences were issued for building purposes at a total of 10,820 licences.

In 2020, over 1.6 million people used the "Balady" platform and more than 100 services were provided via the portal. Over 200,000 construction licences requests have been accomplished during the last year, in addition to 736,000 requests for commercial licences.
