The volume of bilateral trade between Bahrain and the UAE exceeded $550.4 million in Q1 2020, Bahrain’s Information and e-Government Authority revealed.

These figures accounted for 33.81 percent of Bahrain’s bilateral trade volume with GCC countries, which stood at $1.667 billion in Q1 2020.

Bahrain recorded the highest volume of bilateral trade in Q1 2020 with Saudi Arabia at $819 million, or 49.1 percent of the GCC total. Trade volume with the UAE came second.

Figures also showed that the value of total imports to Bahrain from the GCC stood at $541.4 million during the period, while the value of non-oil exports from Bahrain to the GCC recorded $1.126 billion.
