Cairo –Trade exchange between Egypt and India grew by 23% year-on-year during the fiscal year 2018/2019, Indian ambassador to Egypt Rahul Kulshreshth stated.

The value of bilateral trade between both countries reached $4.55 billion in FY18/19, compared to $3.68 billion a year earlier, Kulshreshth added, according to the Middle East News Agency.

The Indian ambassador revealed these figures during the opening ceremony of India’s pavilion at Cairo Fashion & Tex exhibition, which is held from 10 to 12 October.
